Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Rewear ("Rewear," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use the Rewear mobile application (the "App"). By using the App, you agree to the practices described below.

1. Who we are

Rewear is a personal wardrobe app that lets you photograph and archive your outfits, tag the items and brands you wear, organize outfits into folders, and track how often you wear things and their cost per wear.

2. Information we collect

We only collect what we need to make the App work for you.

Account information

Your email address, used to create and sign in to your account and to send account-related communications (such as password resets).

Content you create

• Photos of your outfits that you take or upload.
• Details you add about your outfits and items, including brand names, item types, prices, purchase type (new, vintage, secondhand), wear counts, tags, captions, and folders.
• Optional location information you choose to add to tag where an outfit was worn.

Device permissions you grant

• Camera: only to take outfit photos within the App.
• Photo library: only to select photos to add, and to save cards/receipts you generate.
• Location: only if you choose to tag an outfit's location.

We access these only when you use the related feature, and only for that purpose.

Basic technical data

Limited information necessary for the App and our backend to function reliably (for example, authentication tokens). We do not use third-party advertising trackers.

Beta signups on our website

If you join the beta on re-wear-app.com, we collect the email address you enter and use it only to send your beta invite and related updates. You can unsubscribe at any time.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

• Provide and operate the App and its features.
• Authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• Store and sync your outfits, items, and folders across your sessions.
• Calculate stats such as wear counts and cost per wear.
• Respond to your support requests and feedback.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your photos or wardrobe data for advertising.

4. How your information is stored and shared

Your data is stored using Supabase, our backend and hosting provider, which handles authentication, database storage, and image storage on our behalf. Supabase processes this data solely to provide these services to us. You can review Supabase's practices at supabase.com/privacy. Our website and beta signup form are hosted by Netlify.

We may share information:

• With service providers (such as Supabase) that help us operate the App, under obligations to protect your data.
• If required by law, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of Rewear or others.

We do not otherwise share your personal information with third parties.

5. Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your associated personal data and content, except where we are required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations.

6. Your choices and rights

• Access and edit: You can view and edit your outfits, items, and account content directly in the App.
• Delete your account: You can delete your account from within the App, which removes your associated personal data and content. You may also request deletion by emailing nikki@rewearfiles.com.
• Permissions: You can enable or revoke camera, photo, and location access at any time in your device settings.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights (such as access, correction, deletion, or portability of your data). To exercise these, contact us at nikki@rewearfiles.com.

7. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and authenticated access. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International users

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence. By using the App, you consent to this transfer and processing.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Effective date" above and, where appropriate, notify you in the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
